Dating a guy long distance

When I was dating my husband, he was my first long distance relationship. In long distance relationships, there has to be a lot of trust between you and your significant other. Trust is something that takes time to build but how you communicate what you are feeling/doing/wanting shows your partner that you respect the time and emotions they are putting into this relationship.
